Job Title: Heavy Civil Superintendent - Highway and Bridge ConstructionLocation: New York, NYSalary: $150-180k basic + attractive benefits packageSummary:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Heavy Civil Superintendent to join a prestigious general contractor in New York. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing large-scale highway and bridge construction projects.

They will be responsible for all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to quality control and safety.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of construction workers and sub-contractors.Develop and implement project plans and schedules.

Monitor and control project costs and ensure compliance with budget.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.Manage and resolve any project issues or disputes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, but not essential.

18+ years of experience in heavy civil construction.Proven track record of success in leading and managing large-scale construction projects.In-depth knowledge of highway and bridge construction methods and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
