Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates- Analyzing project requirements to determine the most cost-effective construction methods- Identifying potential cost savings opportunities and providing recommendations to the project management team- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors to obtain the best pricing for materials and services- Preparing and presenting detailed cost estimates to project management teams and clients- Collaborating with project management teams to develop project schedules and budgets- Ensuring that all estimates are submitted on time and in compliance with project requirements- Providing ongoing support to project teams throughout the construction process- Participating in project meetings and providing input on cost-related issuesRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field- 5-10 years of experience in civil construction estimating- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinestype Permanent Location Westchester, New York Profession Construction Industry Construction Pay $150,000 - $180,000 Closing date 4 Jun 2024.
