Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forwardPrimary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of NY/NJ CCC Hudson Valley Project Executive, we'll count on you to: Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of construction management and inspection services primarily for transportation projects.

Have supervisory responsibility over staff which may include Resident Engineers, Inspectors and other construction management personnel.Staffing, mentoring and fostering the professional development of staff are other responsibilities of the Project Executive.Responsible to coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project development to complete project tasks within schedule and budget.

Play a proactive role in identifying, recruiting and developing appropriate staff to build HDR's capabilities. Will also be responsible for business development and to identify and pursue project opportunities for these services and assisting on proposals.Serve as a leader to help grow the construction management practice in the Hudson Valley, including in Transportation and Water Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skillsPerform other duties as required.

Licensed as a Professional Engineer 15 years of progressive Construction Management/Resident Engineering Inspection Services experience.Experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to estimating, bidding, preparing and administering task orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc.

Ability to manage multiple field projects along with supervising multiple HDR field inspection projects at one time.Ability to prepare and submit technical and cost proposals.Experience with construction management software packages and Microsoft Office, Primavera, etc.

Must have strong people skills and the ability to constructively interact with others, including the design team.Experience working with or familiarity with NYSDOT and NYSTA preferred.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustCandidates who reside locally in the Huson Valley area are preferred.
